IMDB rating: 6.90 Plot: Los Angeles police sergeant Roger Murtaugh and his partner, Sergeant Martin Riggs, are working on yet another drug related case. Soon after finding 1 million dollars worth of South African krugerrand in a crashed red BMW after a chase, Riggs and Murtaugh are assigned to keep an eye on Leo Getz, who is scheduled to testify in a case. There are people who don’t want Leo to testify, and they are a group of drug smugglers led by Arjen Rudd, the minister of diplomatic affairs for the South African consulate. Rudd turns out to be the man that Riggs and Murtaugh are after in the drug case they were working on before Leo was placed in their protective custody, which doesn’t look very protective when Leo is kidnapped by Rudd’s right hand man Pieter Vorstedt. Riggs ends up falling for Rudd’s secretary Rika Van Den Haas, who doesn’t like Rudd. In a confrontation with Vorstedt, Riggs is told the true circumstances behind the death of his wife Vicky, who died in a car crash in 1984 the car crash was caused by Vorstedt, who was supposed to have killed Riggs. Minutes after Vorstedt tries to kill Riggs, Riggs finds Rika dead, and this sends Riggs over the edge. |

what is a good defensive weapon that can easily be carried that is legal in IL?
this guy who goes to my school was trying to make time with my girl and i told him to never talk to her again or id kick his @ss. so we got into a fight and i really did beat him down but now hes saying hes gonna get a friend and get me after school one day, im not really worried because i have a car and they are 2 fat @ass guys so i can easily get away but just in case i would like to know what some good defensive weapons are that i can easily carry around that are also legal in the state of IL.
i heard that a roll of dimes clenched in your fist is a good imitation of brass knuckes but i dont want to kill anyone, so is that really that lethal?

please dont tell me to stay away from them because that is not the reality of this world, the reality is that eventually i will run into these guys and i need protection.
i probly should have made it clear that he started the fight by getting in my face and pushing me and i have witnesses to this
a roll of dimes in the fist is called a "fist load" it won’t kill but it will add power and weight to your punch’s. it’s a pretty good suggestion as they aren’t leathal but a poor one as it’s not very defensive and more offensive. my suggestion a good hard kick to the testicles, this will drop any oversized person and bring them to there knees, no illegal or legal weapons needed.

Your best defense is to stay as far away from this fellow as you can. Any weapon can be lethal.

If you have already assaulted him, and you arm yourself, be prepared to go to jail if you injure him in any way. YOU have already started the aggression, it will be very hard to argue that your ’self defense’ was legitimate.
Your only legal option it to use your best defensive weapon: your HEAD.
You may want to take some training on it’s use, however.

Damn dude, you’re in a hell of a jam here. Luckily you can carry a machine gun with you, jk, but I would suggest that you stay away from him, carry scissors, a pocket knife, or a rottweiler. Or you can use your car to run the guys over, but I suggest just staying away from him, and usually most people when they say they are going to have some one beat you up are usually just bluffing. Another option is to just have your friends to back you up, that should work. AND only fight if you have to use it as self defense.

$10 rolls of quarters reinforced with tape are very good. Anything with a blade will get you in a lot of trouble. A baseball bat or axe handle kept in your car would be unlikely to be a violation, but carrying it outside of the car will raise the question of premeditation of whatever mayhem you commit. Any injury sufficient to disable someone is quite capable of killing him, so you cannot depend on any weapon as "safe."
